How do I add overlays to my stream?
Copy the Chat Overlay or Alert Overlay link from KairoDock and add it as a browser source in your streaming software.
Do overlays play audio?
In the beta, KairoDock overlays are visual. KairoDock.exe handles alert sounds and TTS.
How do I get alert sounds and TTS on stream?
Add KairoDock.exe as an application audio source in your streaming software.
Why do I hear KairoDock audio twice?
This usually happens when your streaming software captures KairoDock audio more than one way. If you add KairoDock.exe as an application audio source, you usually do not also need Desktop Audio capturing the same sound.
How does TikTok work?
KairoDock supports TikTok through TikFinity during beta. You connect and control TikTok through TikFinity, and KairoDock reads TikFinity events when TikTok support is enabled.
Do I need TikFinity?
Only if you want TikTok chat and events. Twitch, YouTube, and Kick do not need TikFinity.
Do I need extra bot or TTS apps?
No. KairoDock uses System Voices and Kokoro Local for normal TTS. Twitch, YouTube, and Kick connect directly in KairoDock. TikFinity is only needed if you want TikTok chat and events.
